Alternate Tunings and the Magic of Old-Time Banjo
Little Birdie is one of several classic old-time banjo tunes played out of an iconic “alternate” banjo tuning. Recently, created the “Magic of Old-Time Banjo” collection of tabs (see below for more information), of which “Little Birdie” is one.
The collection includes video tutorials of 2 arrangements (the main one, and a slightly simplified Brainjo level 2 version) of each of the 10 tunes. Below is a sample of the tutorial videos (for the tune “Last Chance”):
